“ENGLISH ROSES”
BOADICEA presents the Spring-Summer 2014 collection, entitled “ENGLISH ROSES”.
The collection celebrates the classical beauty of English culture. “ENGLISH ROSES” tries to capture the youth spirit of virginity and its transformation into ladylike grace. The story follows as the joyful English princesses explore their adolescent times and grow to young a noble, erudite, gallantric beauty.
The English roses finally blooms; from virgins to women, from princesses to queen.
BOADICEA incorporated the classical story to a series of satin, chiffon, and buttersilk materialized Edwardian goddess dresses, with tulle and silk-chiffon layerings. The collection also uses handmade satin and butter silk flowers as the applique. Our colour palette is soft, opaque pastels, with an exceptional signature crisp white.
Prices range starts from IDR350 for mini dresses and IDR450 for maxi dresses.
All design are specially made for one customers only.
The collection has also been incorporated by Jubah Macan Theatre in their May 2014 production, an English masterpiece by the honorable Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. BOADICEA collaborated with Jubah Macan Theatre in ten main and supporting characters’ costumes.
Costumes handled are for Titania, Hyppolita, Hermia, Helena; Puck, Oberon, Theseus, Egeus, Lysander, Demetrius.
“ENGLISH ROSES” will last for six months from March 2014 to August 2014.
First period will be officially opened at April 17th, 2014 for production month of May (pick up month June) for maximum ten dresses only.
Second period will be opened at June (pick up month July), specific date and quota will be announced later.
